The gastrointestinal tract includes set of many bodies and glands providing the nutrients necessary for an organism for development and activity. It penetrates almost all organism, beginning a mouth and coming to an end with a rectum. Among diseases of a digestive tract undisputed leaders are the inflammatory processes of its various departments having sharp or chronic character of a current: the inflammation of a gullet (ezofagit), a stomach (gastritis), a duodenum (duodenit), a liver (hepatitis), a pancreas (pancreatitis), a gall bladder and channels (cholecystitis and holangit), thin and thick guts (enteritis and colitis), a rectum (proktit). They, in turn, cause changes of a mucous membrane of bodies, their motor function and lead to developing of stomach ulcer and a duodenum, cholelithiasis, ulcer colitis. A serious problem of modern society – an intestinal dysbiosis which occurs at the vast majority of people, including newborn children.

Diseases of a stomach, pancreas, intestines often serve as the prime cause of many diseases of skin and a metabolism. The symptomatology of diseases of a gastrointestinal tract is very diverse and depends on the struck body. As the general manifestations serve violation of appetite, belly-ache, an eructation, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, a meteorizm, frustration of a chair, weakness, weight loss.

The modern gastroenterology has the great diagnostic opportunities allowing to distinguish diseases of digestive organs already at early stages of emergence. Laboratory researches include blood tests, gastric and duodenal juice, a calla, intestinal microflora, samples of the fabrics taken at a biopsy. For inspection of hollow bodies of digestive tract radiological and endoscopic methods (an ezofagoskopiya, a kolonoskopiya, a gastroduodenoskopiya, etc.), are applied to parenchymatous – ultrasonography diagnostics. Many chronic diseases of bodies of a gastrointestinal tract demanding subsequently surgical intervention are caused by neglect or a nedolechennost of a sharp state. Therefore emergence of any pathological manifestation has to serve in a gastrointestinal tract as a signal of the immediate address to the specialist gastroenterologist.
